U-17 Indonesian National Team
Muhamad Zahaby Gholy assessed that he and his teammates had given their best, even though they ended up being eliminated at the U-17 World Cup.
The U-17 Indonesian National Team’s progress has certainly stopped in the group phase after finishing in third place in Group H with a score of three points.
Zahaby Gholy expressed his thanks to all officials of the U-17 Indonesian National Team, PSSI, and his teammates.

“Thank you to all the coaches, official staff and PSSI who have given me trust in this team or other friends. It’s been a long journey for all of us and in the end we can play in our dream U17 World Cup,” said Zahaby Gholy, quoted from his personal Instagram page, Wednesday (12/11).
“We always try and give the best for this country, and maybe it doesn’t meet our expectations,” added Zahaby Gholy.
During their appearance at the 2025 U-17 World Cup, the U-17 Indonesian National Team won three points in the three matches played in Group H.
Indonesia’s only victory was recorded after beating Honduras 2-1 in the final match of Group H.
In the first match Indonesia lost 1-3 to Zambia.Then the team coached by Nova Arianto was beaten by Brazil 0-4.

Even though they were eliminated from the 2025 U-17 World Cup, the U-17 Indonesian National Team made history by winning their first victory in the U-17 World Cup tournament.
“All this time we have struggled together to explore a path of life that is full of challenges and stories. Hopefully this day will be a beautiful memory that we will keep forever. Thank you to the supporters and the Indonesian nation for the prayers and support that are always given,” said Zahaby Gholy.
